The Mount Washington Valley Bicycling Club has worked hard to keep many of the bike safety-focused services and learning experiences offered in the past while still maintaining a safe environment for all. We ask that everyone attending be patient and thoughtful, and fully cooperate with our guidelines and event personnel.

This is our 15th annual KBSD event and will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.

Registration in advance is requested to attend this year's event!
(We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins when possible)

Registration is for kids only as part of a Famliy/Travel Group consisting of at least one adult parent or guardian accompanying up to six (6) kids, ages 5-11.

When registering, adults should NOT register themselves as one of the six Family/Travel group members- only kids!

ALL riders, adults and kids must wear a helmet!

Everyone on a bike must wear appropriate footwear- No bare feet, flip flops, slippers etc.

The event is free of charge.

Donations to the MWV Bicycling Club are appreciated.

Mount Washington Valley Bicycling Club volunteers will provide:

FREE bicycle evaluations, basic mechanical checks, and minor adjustments to all kids' bikes.
FREE helmet safety checks.
FREE helmets to kids who need them.
FREE bike Safety and Handling Course along the roads and walkways of Story Land.
FREE giveaways

Important: Anyone who has been knowingly exposed to or is experiencing symptoms typical of COVID-19 on or within 5 days prior to this event should not attend this event. Please take a Covid test if you or a member of your group has symptoms of Covid. Contact the Event Director at kbsd@mwvbicyclingclub.org to change or cancel your registration.

Registration is by Family/Travel Group.
Each Family/Travel Group must register for one of three one-hour time-periods, starting at 9:30AM, 10:30AM, or 11:30AM.
Your Family/Travel Group should plan to arrive at or anytime within 45 minutes after the start of your selected time period.
A Family/Travel Group consists of from one to six (6) kids age 5-11 and at least one accompanying adult. To register, enter a unique name for your Family/Travel group and individually register only the kids. Accompanying adults should NOT register!
If the desired time category is full/closed, choose another time category. If an appropriate time category is not available, register for the Waitlist for your desired category. We will move Famliies/Travel Groups from the Waitlist to fill cancellations or to adjust # of Famlies/Travel Groups per category.
Masking and distancing preferences will be respected.
Groups must stay together and stay on the designated course while in the park.
If desired, parents and guardians can do the helmet fitting of their children, with assistance from event personnel.
Once the safety course is completed, participants will immediately exit the course.
Bottled water will be available.
